Resident complains about delayed driveway repairs; Veticus reports trapping and rehoming cats

During public comment at the April 21 meeting, resident Betsy Simon told council her driveway — damaged after a water leak was repaired three years ago — remains unrepaired and that she has not been notified when the Village will complete the work.
In a separate update, Bailey Wilhite gave a Veticus report: Wilhite said they trapped and sterilized 13 cats during the school year and successfully rehomed three. Wilhite said they will graduate later this spring and that Sasha Gough will lead Veticus during the summer transition. Council and attendees discussed cat populations on the lower campus and behind Bonney Castle. No Hiram College report was provided at this meeting.
The council asked S. Schuller to respond to Betsy Simon and to follow up with a timeline at the May meeting.
