Highland — On Jan. 12 the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2026-01, fixing charges for Information and Communication Technology services that will be accounted for in the town’s ICT internal-service fund.
The adopted FY2026 charges are: $103,107 for services to the Corporation General Fund; $79,300 for the Park and Recreation Fund; $21,000 for the Redevelopment General Fund; and $109,156 each for the Waterworks and Wastewater/Stormwater utilities. The resolution instructs municipal fiscal officers to collect the charges and deposit them into the ICT Fund, either as a lump sum or periodically until fully collected.
Council discussion referenced the Highland Municipal Code provision establishing an ICT fund and the statutory authority for local government accounting; councilors voted 4-0 to adopt the resolution.
Clerk-Treasurer Mark Herak will implement the collection schedule consistent with the resolution and municipal accounting rules.
