Staff asked the finance committee for consensus to accept the donation in accordance with the village's donation policy.
Construction updates included excavation and utility work on the north and east sides, site electric work, landscaping, grading for a north detention basin, completed wall framing, and exterior masonry and roofing nearing completion; window glazing and concrete patio work were also reported as substantially complete. Staff said a driving-range tee installation was finished but the range will not open to the public until netting is approved on Thursday.
Committee members expressed appreciation for the donation and the project progress; staff will follow the donation policy and bring any formal acceptance item to the board if required.
