LPRB reviews multiple land easements, schedules 16 Green Hill Road settlement

The Land Preservation Review Board met Dec. 18, 2025, in Mechanicsburg and approved its Nov. 20 minutes before discussing progress on several land-easement settlements and related administrative items.
Rob Shaw, vice-chairperson of the Land Preservation Review Board, moved to approve the Nov. 20, 2025 meeting minutes; Barry Frantz seconded the motion, which the board approved unanimously. Chairperson Frank Evelhoch called the meeting to order at 5:29 p.m.
Board staff reported that easement language for 16 Green Hill Road (Tax ID #38-06-0013-026 and partial #38-06-0013-027; related parcel #38-06-0015-002A) is still being finalized and that coordination is underway for a settlement scheduled for Dec. 30, 2025. Officials said 480 North Locust Point Road (partial Tax ID #38-06-0013-27, #38-07-0461-001A, #38-07-0463-010A) shares the same owner and is being handled in coordination with the Green Hill settlement.
The board noted settlement for 1122 Trindle Road (Tax ID #38-09-0539-020 and #38-09-0539-054) was completed on Dec. 4, 2025. For 9 Stillmeadows Lane (Tax ID #38-05-0437-028C), staff said the final surveyed acreage is 26.08 acres and that an easement payment was approved at the November 2025 Board of Supervisors (BoS) meeting. Lancaster Farmland Trust representative Jeb Musser still needs additional information from the surveyor before staff can schedule a meeting with the property owners; board materials list a hopeful settlement timing of the second quarter of 2026.
During announcements, board member J. L. Bruner said he purchased a drone that could possibly be made available for LPRB use in the future. The board also reviewed the financial report and a PLGIT investment update; the minutes record that the financials were reviewed and discussed but show no board fiscal action.
BoS Liaison Carl Machamer provided a liaison update on township happenings. The board recessed into executive session to discuss real estate at 6:28 p.m.; the session ended at 7:16 p.m., and the minutes state no items requiring a vote were considered during that session. The meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m. Minutes were submitted by Secretary Sharon Wevodau. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Jan. 15, 2026.
