Silver Spring Township Authority approves minutes, October expenditures and hires a maintenance mechanic
Summary
At its Oct. 15 meeting the Authority approved the Sept. 17 minutes, authorized October expenditures totaling $174,137.95 from the Sewer Revenue Account and other payments, and approved the hiring of Steven Ahlers as a Maintenance Mechanic Specialist with an Oct. 20 start date.
The Silver Spring Township Authority approved routine meeting business and personnel action at its Oct. 15, 2025 meeting.
On a Secary–McMillan motion the board approved the Sept. 17, 2025 meeting minutes. The board then approved the Treasurer's report and October payments: Sewer Revenue Account expense payments of $174,137.95; Capital Reserve Account expense payments of $12,875.56; Developers' Account payments of $252.75; and Township Developers' Account bills forwarded for payment of $842.50. The motion to approve expenditures carried unanimously.
On a Lenker–Secary motion the board authorized staff to hire Steven Ahlers as a Maintenance Mechanic Specialist with a hiring date of Oct. 20, 2025. The motion carried.
Chairman David Weihbrecht adjourned the meeting at 6:11 p.m. on a Mull–McMillan motion.
