LPRB reschedules CAPCOG presentation, prepares updated map and website text for township outreach

At its March 19 meeting the Land Preservation Review Board rescheduled a CAPCOG presentation because of inclement weather, planned public outreach for a May 6 township open house and discussed updates to the township webpage.
The CAPCOG presentation will take place April 20, 2026 at 7 p.m. at the Hampden Township building; Laura Brown and Vince DiFilippo will make the presentation. The board agreed to request an inside table at the Township Open House on May 6 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and to print an updated property map before the event to help inform residents about preserved parcels and program activities.
Board members also discussed a redesign and content improvements for the township webpage. Laura Brown said she had contacted Paul Fisher to draft new text for the LPRB section; Fisher will submit ideas for the next meeting. The minutes record that financials and a PLGIT investment update were reviewed as part of routine business but do not list further fiscal actions.
In old business, Jeb Musser of Lancaster Farmland Trust reported that the board and LFT are awaiting title search results for 9 Stillmeadows Lane (Tax ID# 38-05-0437-028C). The minutes do not specify a timeline for the title search or the size/value of the parcel.
The board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for April 16, 2026.
