During public comment at the Sept. 16 Middletown Town Council meeting, resident Tyler Ferrell expressed displeasure with his utility bill and with how he was treated by Utility Office staff; Carl, identified in the minutes as Utility Office staff, said the resident's meter was being checked for accuracy.
Separately, the homeowner of the mobile home at lot 54 in Crestwood said they did not have electric service. Carl told the council the lot had not passed inspection and said he would follow up with Crestwood's owners to resolve the problem.
Ryan Wallace, listed on the agenda regarding a water situation, did not attend. Carl described the water issue to the council and Town Attorney Joel Harvey said he would send Wallace a letter stating the matter was concluded. Council minutes record no further action at the meeting on these items.
The minutes also note that staff must gain interior access to disconnect power for a planned demolition at 907 Locust St in early October; Town Attorney Joel Harvey said he would contact the property owner about access.
