At the May 5 meeting, the Marlborough Board of Selectmen appointed Lenny Adams as an alternate member of the Board of Finance. The motion to appoint Adams was made by Chair Susan McFarland and seconded by John Rizza; the board approved the appointment 4–1, with Selectman Louise Concodello recording the lone opposition and explaining her reasons on the record.
The board also moved to table consideration of Judy Ginn's application for the Commission on Aging until the May 19 meeting at the request of a public commenter who said Ginn could introduce herself in person. Separately, the board tabled consideration of Michael Concodello's appointment to the MESBC until May 19.
Residents in public comment thanked the board for the BOF alternate appointment and thanked staff for work on the Senior Center. The board recorded votes and moved on to other agenda items.
