Knox County Council approves $2.5 million temporary loan, EMS agreement and routine appropriations

Knox County Council voted unanimously Feb. 10 to approve a series of financial measures, including a $2,500,000 temporary loan from the county’s Rainy Day Fund to the County General Fund and an Emergency Medical Services agreement listed in the minutes as with “GSH.” All motions on the agenda passed by 5-0.

The council adopted Resolution 2026-3 to authorize a temporary loan of $2,500,000 from the Rainy Day Fund to the County General Fund.
