The Plan Commission granted preliminary plat approval for Petition 26‑04, a one‑lot consolidation for Damian Cortes at Lakeview Drive and Lakeside Drive (motion: Mark Kara; second: Stuart Allen; vote 7‑0). The petitioner said he has been maintaining the adjacent vacant platted lot for nine years and seeks to combine it with his home parcel.
In a consultation the commission heard a presentation from Laura Picino on a proposed '7 Brew' double drive‑thru concept to be located at the Crossings at Hobart. The concept envisions a 510‑sf building with an additional 238‑sf cooler/storage structure, no indoor or outdoor seating, a stacked capacity for about 38 vehicles and operating hours of 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Picino will return for formal site plan review next month.
With no further business the commission adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
