The City Commission granted a provisional business license Aug. 6 to Dennis Williams, who applied to operate as DA Kitchen.
At a pre-commission hearing Williams addressed the commission and answered questions about hours and the type of business he intends to operate. Commissioners asked about operating hours; no members of the public offered comment. The commission agreed to issue a provisional license that includes a condition requiring closure at midnight. Williams agreed to the terms and will be issued a letter specifying the provisions of the provisional license.
The formal approval of the provisional license was recorded during the regular meeting and passed 4–0 with one commissioner absent.
