Council reappoints Dee Lindsey to Greene County Development Authority

Union Point’s City Council voted unanimously on July 9 to reappoint Dee Lindsey as the city’s representative to the Greene County Development Authority for a four-year term running 2024–2028.
Council Member Sally Boswell moved to reappoint Lindsey; Council Member Jim Scott seconded the motion. During discussion members noted others might be interested in the role but also that there is no term limit. Lindsey told the council he would be glad to continue serving if approved.
