The Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners voted 5–0 to approve the minutes of the Oct. 24, 2024 meeting after a motion from Commissioner Michael McGroarty and a second from Commissioner William Keohane.
Commissioner Raymond W. Lopez announced that Resolution 1359-24 (a preliminary-plan submittal by Sanatoga Land Holdings, L.P. proposing a 125-room hotel, two restaurants, 200 apartments and clubhouse in the GMU District) has been tabled until further notice; no further action on that item occurred Nov. 4.
Manager Edward Wagner also reported administrative items including the proposed $5 rate increase from the Lower Pottsgrove Township Authority (to offset a 34% increase from Pottstown Borough Authority), planned Hilltop Road paving the week of Nov. 18, and that a township-owned Explorer vehicle would be sold to the high bidder with bids above $3,000 and a deadline the following day. The meeting moved into an executive session to discuss a possible litigation matter and adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
