Michele Hogrelius, the township's finance director, and Assistant Finance Director Stephanie McGee presented the draft 2025 operating budget to the Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners at their Nov. 4 meeting. The presentation explained budget assumptions and department submissions; Manager Edward C. Wagner said the full budget file would be made available once the board takes final action because the materials shown that evening were a draft.
The draft drew praise from commissioners. Commissioner Michael McGroarty said staff did an "exceptional job compiling the information and presenting the budget," and Commissioner Robert Mohollen complimented the team for thorough, creative work during the process. Commissioners asked no substantive follow-up questions at the meeting.
The board did not take a vote on the 2025 budget Nov. 4; the presentation was informational and is expected to return for formal review and adoption at a future meeting. Manager Wagner said additional public materials will be posted after any final approval. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Nov. 21, when agenda items including final budget action could appear.
