Manager Edward C. Wagner and the project's owner's representative, Chris Caggiano, told the board that one accepted contract alternate reduced the size/cost of a generator and that the Township plans to bid the generator separately to get a lower price. An alternate to replace four attic windows (about $36,299) was declined on the architect's recommendation.
Commissioners framed the awards as the next step to begin construction. Commissioner Robert Mohollen, discussing the Township's overall capital posture, said the Capital Reserve Fund is “fully funded” and that he “foresees no problems and no tax increases for the upcoming year.”
