Hebron council records employee insurance choices; staff denies reports of collapsed sewer lines

During the Jan. 15 meeting Chief Fiscal Officer Deborah Morgan updated councilmembers on employee health insurance choices made after the Personnel Committee review.
Morgan told the council that eight employees elected a plan in which the village would pay 7% of premiums; the other employees who elected coverage chose a plan with 100% of premiums paid by the village. No individual employee names or dollar amounts were recorded in the minutes.
Council President Randy Wolf said his wife had received an email alleging that Hebron’s sewer lines had collapsed. Village Administrator Jung-Han Chen responded that there have been no collapsed sewer lines in Hebron and asked Mr. Wolf to forward the email to Mayor Valerie Mockus for follow-up.
The meeting closed when Mr. Wolf moved to adjourn at 6:06 p.m.; Councilmember Andrea Chapman seconded and a roll-call vote recorded all councilmembers present voting in favor.
