Hebron schedules Public Works and Water & Wastewater committee meetings on flood model and bulk-water contract

Village Administrator Jung-Han Chen told the combined council committees on Jan. 15 that multiple standing committees will meet in February to address infrastructure and water-supply matters.
Mr. Chen announced a Public Works Committee meeting set for Feb. 5, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. to review results from a Flood Improvement Model that will examine anticipated reductions in the floodway. The Public Works Committee is chaired by Councilmember Stacy Stoner.
He also said the Water & Wastewater Committee will meet Feb. 19, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss the Licking County Bulk Water contract and a Source Water Protection Plan. Mr. Chen said Council previously approved forming the Water & Wastewater Committee and staff are identifying appropriate members; once members are selected, staff will forward information to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for its review or records.
