Committee targets LWCF and other grants to fund park improvements

Separately, the committee recorded an approximately $15,000 grant application submitted to AARP to fund an accessible ramp and identified the garden wall as a priority. Members also discussed two possible Maine Office of Tourism grant opportunities: a smaller $2,500–$5,000 grant being explored for Sullivan Daze and a larger potential tourism grant in the $20,000–$25,000 range listed as another funding possibility for events or projects.
