Morgantown council adopts 2026 budget, approves multiple appropriations and routine claims

The council also approved Resolution 2025-14, an additional appropriation of $10,000 for the town park (motion by Stacie Baker; seconded by Jewel Blevins). Separately, the body adopted Resolution 2025-12, reducing the 2025 budget by $184,516 (motion by Jewel Blevins; seconded by Stacie Baker). All motions passed unanimously.
