At the June 18 Calhoun County Board of Commissioners meeting the board approved a Consent Agenda that included multiple routine and project items and approved a claims payable list totaling $3,663,498.77.
Managing Director of the Road Department Kristine Parsons summarized items on the Consent Agenda, including CCRD 2025 Act 51 certification and decertification of certain roadways, acceptance of Phase 2 of the Loganwood subdivision (Loganwood Acres North final plat), and a Memorandum of Agreement for Sheridan Township bridge replacement using state grant funds supported by State Representative Steve Frisbie. The Consent Agenda (Res.076-2026) was moved and approved by voice vote.
Later in the meeting the board approved the claims payable listing (Res.078-2026) for May 28 through June 10, 2026 in the amount of $3,663,498.77 by roll call; the transcript records commissioners present approving the item and two commissioners excused. The claims list was presented as part of routine fiscal business; no amendments to the claims list were recorded in the meeting transcript.
