Town Manager seeks federal grant support for firehouse; proposes cell‑tower fees and reports trailer inspections

On cell‑tower fees, Weintraub summarized a proposal the CEO recommended to align with neighboring communities: "Adjustment to a current tower should be $3,000.00 and New Towers to be $15,000.00 this is based on surrounding area communities," according to the meeting minutes. The minutes attribute this fee recommendation to the CEO and indicate the Select Board will consider setting fee amounts.
The Town Manager said he would ask staff to research how other towns publish Treasurer's warrants after John Keenan requested greater transparency during public comment.
No formal vote on establishing cell‑tower fees or on the firehouse grant submissions occurred at the meeting; the board recorded the items for follow up.
