The Sunman Town Council approved Resolution 2026-04 to declare a 2014 Dodge Charger surplus and donate the vehicle to the town of St. Leon. The donation was described as intended to support Adam Buskin, a longtime town employee who recently suffered a serious on-the-job accident.
Speakers said the vehicle had been obtained with help from the Osgood Police Department and that transferring the surplus car would assist Mr. Buskin and St. Leon at a time of need. One council member noted the car was available at minimal cost to Sunman and that the receiving department had given its blessing.
A motion to approve the donation was made and seconded; the council recorded that Resolution 2026-04 passed. Council members thanked Osgood for facilitating the transfer and noted that both the town president of St. Leon and Adam Buskin were grateful for the assistance.
The council completed the resolution and moved on to other agenda items.
