Bolton Fire Commission reviews water-supply zones; Route 6 pond ruled unusable for hydrant use

The discussion is part of routine readiness work the department tracks alongside equipment winterizing and personnel training. Commissioners did not adopt any new policy or funding at the meeting; staff indicated they will continue researching additional water sources and hydrant mapping.
The commission scheduled its next meeting for Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, where ongoing items including infrastructure and CIP deadlines may be revisited.
