The Field Local School District Board of Education approved the superintendent’s consent agenda at a special meeting on June 30, 2025, confirming several administrative appointments, classified hires, supplemental contract changes, staff transfers and a retirement.
Under the superintendent’s recommendations the board approved Jessica Horning as Middle School Assistant Principal, effective Aug. 1, 2025 (Step 4 Administrative Salary Schedule, two-year contract), and granted Emily Livers five extended workdays in her role as Dean of Students at Suffield and Brimfield elementary schools. The board also approved classified hires effective Aug. 21, 2025: Brenda Smith as a 5.5-hour TCL paraprofessional at the high school and Kelly Marsh as a 3-hour cook/cashier at Brimfield. The board approved summer pay for Randy Ewing at $25.00 per hour for painting work.
The superintendent recommended rescinding two supplemental contracts for the 2025–26 year (Connie Tenney, 7th-grade volleyball; Anna Carlson, 8th-grade volleyball) and then listed supplemental contracts to employ for 2025–26, including Connie Tenney as 8th-grade volleyball coach ($2,516.00), George Wetzel as 50% Sophomore Class Advisor ($807.50) and others. The minutes note additional posted positions under Ohio Revised Code §3319.22, including Anna Carlson for 7th-grade volleyball and Evan Young as varsity boys soccer coach ($5,033.00). The board also approved amendments to several varsity/assistant football coaching contracts and listed stipend totals for those changes.
The superintendent presented volunteer approval for Delanie Simpkins (girls soccer); transfers for Jasmine Watts (cook/cashier), Michelle Ronowski (playground monitor to middle school secretary), and Anthony Davis (assistant custodian to head custodian); and accepted the retirement of Lee Cook (grounds/maintenance), effective July 31, 2025.
