The Gambier Village Planning Commission unanimously approved two procedural items during its Jan. 20, 2026, meeting. Commissioner Elizabeth Bonaudi moved to approve the Dec. 16, 2025 meeting minutes; Mayor Leeman Kessler seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
The commission then granted a zoning certificate for rooftop solar at 306 E. Wiggin Street. Applicants Denny and Jennifer Snow and Heidi Hulse of Mh3 Solar confirmed the proposed panels would be flush-mounted, would use standard mounting boxes and "would not create glare." Chair Morgan Giles moved to approve the application; Commissioner Bonaudi seconded. The motion passed 5-0.
Separately, Zoning Inspector Mr. Engle told Village Administrator Courtney DeCosky he plans to present designs for the Engle Corner project at the commission's February meeting. The meeting record notes the commission adjourned; the minutes contain a timing inconsistency, listing the call to order at 7:31 p.m. and the adjournment at 7 p.m.
