Franklin City Council recorded a series of unanimous actions during its May 18 meeting:
- Approval of minutes: Mr. Michael Aldridge moved to approve the Clerk’s Journal and accept the tapes as the official minutes of the April 20, 2020 general meeting; seconded by Mr. Matt Wilcher. Vote: unanimous (all seven members present voted yes).
- Ordinance 2020-07 (street lighting 2021): Vice Mayor Todd Hall moved to adopt; seconded by Mr. Paul Ruppert. Vote: unanimous (7–0) and ordinance adopted.
- Ordinance 2020-08 (sale of 449 South Main Street): Public hearing/action deferred to the June 1, 2020 meeting due to omission from council packets.
- Resolution 2020-25 (ODOT preliminary legislation for SR 123/Community Park intersection): Adopted unanimously (motion by Vice Mayor Hall, second by Mr. Ruppert).
- Resolution 2020-26 (appoint Khristi Dunn as City Clerk effective May 26, 2020; acting clerks named): Adopted unanimously (motion by Mrs. Fouts, second by Mr. Wilcher).
