Franklin City Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2020-26 on May 18 to appoint Khristi Dunn as City Clerk effective May 26, 2020, and named Amber Copenhaver and Lynnette Dinkler as acting clerks in her absence.
City Manager Sonny Lewis said Ms. Dunn "comes highly recommended" by her current employer and council members offered congratulations. Council then adopted Resolution 2020-27 to amend the City’s organizational listings and pay rates for 2020 to include the newly appointed clerk’s pay scale; the adoption passed unanimously.
Both measures were procedural personnel actions included on the meeting agenda; Council members expressed support during the roll call discussion and the mayor authorized staff to sign legislation and minutes.
