Mike Bowers, a Gettysburg resident, used the public-comment portion of the Nov. 21 meeting to tell council that Norcold has been sold to Rick Kremer of Ansonia and said he will bring a 2025 goals sheet setting out three-, five- and ten-year goals.
During old-business discussion, Council member Dan May asked Bowers whether an abatement under a Community Reinvestment Act provision remained necessary now that Norcold had been sold. Bowers responded that the abatement would still be useful. Mayor Jon Michael Shives said he had asked Water Superintendent and Village Administrator Jay Roberts to coordinate with the village solicitor to initiate the abatement process.
Under new business, an agenda item titled "Sewer Contract with Bradford" was tabled; the transcript records the item as tabled but does not record who moved or seconded the table or any vote tally.
The meeting concluded at 7:33 p.m.
