Putnam County Commissioner John Schlumbohm briefed the Glandorf Village Council on a proposed new county EMS building during the July 15 meeting. Schlumbohm said the project design includes nine bunks and four vehicle bays and that Touchstone is slated to serve as the general contractor.
He said the county anticipates a Memorandum of Understanding will be required to resolve an easement issue and that the county will forward the relevant information to Nicholas Gerschutz (referred to as Nick in the meeting) for follow‑up.
The presentation was informational; the council did not vote on or commit municipal funds for the county project during the meeting. The item was presented to keep local officials informed and to identify any local easement or permitting steps that might be necessary if the project proceeds.
