Planning board approves Rees final subdivision, grants Kaufman extension and handles other routine items

At its July 17 meeting the Greenburgh Planning Board handled a set of routine and case‑management actions.
The board waived a public hearing on the final application for PB22‑01 (Rees Subdivision, Beaver Hill Road) and voted to approve the final subdivision after staff reported no significant changes since preliminary approval. Staff said the plat has Westchester County Health Department endorsement.
In another matter the Kaufman Subdivision (PB19‑26, 36 Hillcrest Avenue) asked for an eighth extension of its preliminary subdivision approval. Staff reported the application was filed with the neighboring village and that village staff had preliminarily reviewed the submission and requested clarifications about roadway slope stabilization. The board approved a 180‑day extension but required periodic check‑ins with staff so progress can be monitored.
The board also declared a Type II action under SEQR for a steep slope/record to zoning item at 39 Spring Valley Road and authorized routing of a record to the Zoning Board for that project. The board accepted correspondence items, handled a roll call and approved minutes by voice vote.
