Mansfield council grants two-year variance for Mansfield Baptist Church modular classroom

Mayor Blair H. Northen presented the variance request. Mayor Pro Tem Fred Purvis moved to approve the variance and Councilman Brandon Hays seconded. During discussion the council noted the unit would have electricity only and be used as classrooms; the council set the approval period from Jan. 1, 2025, to Jan. 1, 2027. The motion passed with all in favor.
