Hillsborough Council receives town-wide home hardening work plan for wildfire preparedness

On a motion by Councilmember Marie Chuang, seconded by Vice Mayor Leslie Marden Ragsdale, the Council voted unanimously to receive the work plan. The minutes record no amendments; Council’s action documented receipt of the plan, which allows staff to proceed with the program management steps described in the report.
The work plan outlines roles for building, planning and fire staff and identifies home hardening measures for private properties; the minutes do not record implementation dates or funding details.
