The committee voted informally to review the entire kiosk placard and identify recommended changes to wording and design elements before the placard is finalized.
Charles Turcotte, the committee chair and Selectmen representative, said the group recommended that Director of Public Works Todd Croteau coordinate the kiosk project with Katie, the DPW staff member who maintains cemetery records; Turcotte said he would call Croteau to enlist that assistance. The committee also affirmed the kiosk frame and frame color decisions and agreed on follow-up steps to implement any placard edits.
The committee noted that it had visited all town-owned cemeteries in 2026 as part of its review process and that the kiosk at Cutter will undergo the recommended fact-check and design edits ahead of installation. No formal vote record was provided in the meeting notes; the recommendation was entered as committee direction for staff coordination and follow-up at the next meetings.
Next steps: DPW and the volunteer project lead are to reconcile placard text with cemetery records, then return to the committee with finalized language and a timetable for installation.
