On water and pump issues, Chris Recker reported Whelco Industrial inspected an old pump and said repair would cost $21,000; council agreed to scrap the old unit and pursue a replacement, with an update to be provided at the next meeting. The board also asked Fiscal Officer Sharon Stechschulte and the village solicitor to draft an amendment to the water ordinance to set pool fill fees at $40 for the first load and $20 for each subsequent load.
