Hartland briefs selectmen on $81,348 H2S tab and orders H2S monitor

Christopher Littlefield, staff, told the board the H2S expense figure and that the machine order has been placed as part of ongoing solid-waste management work. Littlefield also shared a landfill-capacity projection intended to inform future planning and budgeting.
Selectman Mark Brooks asked about the status of an ongoing legal matter related to town operations. "Our discovery phase is over and now it is our turn to receive data from their side," Littlefield said, describing the next procedural step in the Towle case.
