Hebron to join Minot in RFP for Allen Road paving, adds Sturtevant Hill Road as separate charge

The Town of Hebron will participate in a joint request for proposals with the Town of Minot to pave Allen Road, Town Administrator Alicia Bryant said at the March 23 Selectmen meeting.
Minot plans to issue the RFP by the end of next week with responses due by the end of April. Hebron asked that Sturtevant Hill Road also be included in the RFP scope but billed separately to Hebron; the board discussed the potential for bulk pricing and possible extra transport fees. Board members indicated that, if the interlocal procurement works well, they may pursue similar joint projects in future years.
No formal vote to award a contract was recorded; the board received the update and directed staff to proceed with coordination and the RFP timeline.
