The Lower Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners unanimously approved several routine actions on Aug. 4, 2025, including the July 7 meeting minutes and Warrant #958, and authorized staff to seek proposals and quotes for upcoming projects.
The Board voted 5-0 to approve the minutes from its July 7 meeting after a motion from Commissioner Michael McGroarty and a second from Commissioner Earl E. Swavely. The Board later approved Warrant #958 for June 2025 following a motion from Commissioner Robert Mohollen and a second from Commissioner McGroarty.
The Board also authorized staff to obtain proposals for the Traffic Signal Maintenance Contract (motion by Commissioner William Keohane; second by Commissioner Robert Mohollen) and to obtain quotes to appraise the property at 2199 Buchert Road (motion by Commissioner Earl E. Swavely; second by Commissioner Robert Mohollen). Both motions passed unanimously.
The Board accepted the resignation of Harry Dewees, effective Aug. 8 (motion by Commissioner McGroarty; second by Commissioner Keohane), and voted unanimously to cancel the Aug. 21 meeting because of a lack of business (motion by Commissioner McGroarty; second by Commissioner Mohollen). The meeting was adjourned at 7:01 p.m. after a unanimous motion to adjourn.
Warrant #959 (July) was noted by President Raymond W. Lopez as not complete and was not approved at the Aug. 4 meeting. No votes on ordinances, resolutions, or budget adoptions were taken at this session.
