The Lower Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners approved several operational items by unanimous votes at its Oct. 6 meeting.
Engineer Nick Perilli described Change Order #3 for the Snell Road Bridge as a quantity adjustment to reconcile bid estimates with actual work. The board approved the $3,276.60 change order (motion by Commissioner Michael McGroarty, seconded by Commissioner Robert Mohollen), which covers about 30 additional square yards of paving to properly transition to the Lucci driveway.
Commissioners also voted 5‑0 to hire two on‑call snow‑removal contractors for the 2025–26 winter season: Haines & Kibblehouse Group Inc. (Skippack) and Sacks & Son Inc. (Zieglerville). Manager Edward C. Wagner noted township crews remain the primary plowing resource but the vendors are called as needed.
The board awarded a four‑year auditing contract to Barbacane Thornton & Company after Commissioner Mohollen said the price has risen and that the township solicited five firms but received one response; the vote was 5‑0.
The board approved Resolution 1381‑25 to transfer State Aid to the Police and Non‑Uniform pension accounts (5‑0) and separately voted to cancel the Oct. 16 meeting. All motions were unanimous.
