The Select Board has scheduled a special town meeting for Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. at Dee Why Intermediate School (286 Station Ave., Yarmouth), the Town Administrator said. Board members will review warrant articles during June, July and August; once the review is complete, the warrant will be published in September.
The Town Administrator reminded citizens that Aug. 18 is the deadline to submit citizen petitions to the town clerk by 4 p.m. to be considered for the Oct. 6 meeting. The administrator also noted that Sept. 25, 2026, is the last day to register to vote for the special town meeting.
The administrator encouraged residents pursuing petitions or with questions about the warrant to consult the town clerk’s office and the planning department’s posted materials for guidance.
