Drainage board approves large tile installation for Neugebauer property in Section 29

The Davison County Drainage Board approved a second drainage permit for land owned by Tim Neugebauer on Nov. 18, allowing installation of a multi‑sized tile network in Section 29, T102N, R60.
Acting Administrator Wegleitner told the board the application — received Oct. 31, 2025 and published Nov. 8 — produced no calls from abutting property owners. Neugebauer said the planned work includes approximately 89,983 feet of tile in various diameters (4‑, 6‑, 8‑, 10‑ and 15‑inch) and that the primary outlet is in the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4; water will travel northeast into Enemy Creek and eventually the James River.
After the board reviewed the required checklist under the county ordinance, Member Edinger moved to grant the permit; Member Bult seconded. Roll call: Buchholz — aye; Bult — aye; Edinger — aye; Larson — aye; Klumb — aye. The motion carried and no special conditions were recorded.
The board placed its findings on file in the Auditor’s and Drainage Administrator’s offices. The meeting adjourned at 8:28 p.m., and the board set its next meeting for Dec. 16, 2025.
