DDA orders giveaways, schedules Nov. 23 Open House; Spirit Tree Yoga sets Oct. 30 ribbon cutting

Lively also reported that bamboo cutting boards with the bird dog logo — intended as giveaways for the DDA Downtown Open House — were scheduled for delivery on Thursday, Oct. 23. The Open House is set for Sunday, Nov. 23 from 1 to 5 p.m. Board members were encouraged to work a shift during that event.
On a separate item, the minutes record a 'Restroom Site Discussion' noting plans to clean and paint the brick on the front of the site; the minutes did not specify a contractor, timeline, or budget for that work.
Under new business, Lively reported a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting for Spirit Tree Yoga Studio at 611 N. Liberty Street scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. The owner plans to fully open the business on Saturday, Nov. 1. The board recorded the dates and promotional items but took no formal fiscal action on giveaways or site maintenance during the meeting.
