Commonwealth Engineering representative Eric Parsley updated the council on the town’s water tank project and submitted pay application #1 for Viking Industrial Painting in the amount of $232,465.00. The council approved the pay application on a 5-0 vote after brief discussion.
Clerk-Treasurer Beth A. Jones presented the Electric Tracking Factor for the fourth quarter, reporting an adjustment of $0.011237 which results in an increase of $0.00201 per kilowatt-hour. Theron Owen moved to adopt the rate adjustment; Arla Jean Frazier seconded and the council approved it unanimously.
