Councilman Joe Bass moved to pass Ordinance 2024-07, with Councilman Chuck Sugg providing the second. The council then voted to adopt the ordinance as an emergency measure after a motion from Councilman Chuck Sugg, seconded by Councilwoman Linda McCarthy. The council recorded unanimous approval on both the adoption and the emergency designation, and the ordinance "will take affect immediately," the meeting minutes state.
The ordinance was presented and read into the record by Recorder/Treasurer Andrea Kray. The meeting minutes list no amendments or recorded dissenting votes.
