At its Feb. 17 meeting, the Cotter School District Board approved a series of vendor and service contracts and equipment purchases recommended by Superintendent Jones.
The board unanimously voted to retain First Security Beardsley as the district's financial advisor for a three-year period after Superintendent Jones presented the recommendation. The board also approved a Facilities Consortium contract that will employ Aliza Jones as Facility Coordinator for the period July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027.
The board approved renewal of Ozark Therapy, Inc.'s physical therapy contract for the 2025–2026 school year.
On equipment, the board accepted a Gym Masters quote of $32,980.00 to refurbish the gym floor (submitted as a Tips-Taps vendor). For classroom technology, Shane Lively presented two quotes for interactive boards — Howard Technology Solutions at $62,981.00 and White River Services and Solutions at $70,315.29 — and the board approved the lower Howard Technology Solutions quote of $62,981.00.
Each recommendation was moved, seconded and approved unanimously. Superintendent Jones presented the items and board members asked no substantive questions in the recorded minutes.
