The Cotter School District Board of Education unanimously approved routine consent items at its Feb. 17, 2025, meeting, including the Jan. 16, 2025 meeting minutes, the January financial reports and an Additional Duty Sheet.
Superintendent Jones reviewed the financial reports for January and recommended the board approve them. Cameron Ross moved to approve the financial reports, Russel Duggins seconded, and the motion was approved unanimously.
Superintendent Jones also presented the Additional Duty Sheet for board approval. Jimmy Morgan moved to approve the sheet, Cameron Ross seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
The board recorded total enrollment of 698 students: 377 in the elementary school and 321 in the high school. With those items concluded, the meeting moved on to contract and personnel matters.
