Cotter Public Schools board approves lower-cost furniture bids for new addition

High School Principal Jarod Jefferson presented four competitive bids: VIRCO at $49,345.63, Arkansas Correctional Industries at $17,856.64, Hertz Furniture at $57,032.20 and School Outfitters at $51,163.52. Superintendent Jones recommended accepting the lower-cost bids from VIRCO and Arkansas Correctional Industries.
Jimmy Morgan moved to approve the new-addition furniture bids as presented; Russel Duggins seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. The minutes record the motion passing at 7:11 p.m.
