The Cotter Public Schools Board of Education entered an executive session at 7:22 p.m. on July 18, 2024 and reconvened at 9:02 p.m. After the closed session the board approved personnel recommendations and three student transfer petitions.
Superintendent Jamye Jones presented staff recommendations from the Personnel Report and asked for board approval; Jimmy Morgan moved to approve and Russel Duggins seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
Jones also presented three petitions requesting student transfers into the Cotter School District — two from the Mountain Home School District and one from the Flippin School District. Jimmy Morgan moved to approve the petitions, Russel Duggins seconded, and the board approved them unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:03 p.m. by motion of Cameron Ross, seconded by Russel Duggins. The minutes record the executive session times but do not disclose its subject matter.
