Cotter School Board adopts policy revisions and high school handbook for 2024–25

LaDonna Mendleski presented revised language for Section 3 of the district policies. Superintendent Jamye Jones recommended the board adopt the Policy Updates and Provisions as presented. Board member Cameron Ross moved to approve the recommendation, and Board member Russel Duggins seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
High School Principal Jarod Jefferson then presented proposed revisions to the High School Handbook for the upcoming school year. Superintendent Jamye Jones recommended approval. Jimmy Morgan moved to adopt the handbook changes; Cameron Ross seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.
These approvals were recorded as standard governance actions; no dissenting votes were noted. The board also approved the meeting minutes from its June 13, 2024 meeting earlier in the agenda.
The board moved on afterward to several operational items, including procurement and contract renewals.
