Cotter board approves tutoring contract, selects Diga‑Talk radios, retires equipment and creates track fund

Shane Lively presented multiple bus radio quotes: L & B Electronics ($24,530.00), Arkansas Valley Communications ($29,647.78 and $22,263.11), and Diga‑Talk (lease $992.00; purchase $5,264.00). Superintendent Jones recommended accepting the Diga‑Talk purchase quote for $5,264.00; Cameron Ross moved to accept the Diga‑Talk purchase, Jimmy Morgan seconded, and the board approved the purchase unanimously.
The board also approved the retirement of listed fixed assets — including a 2021 Chevrolet bus, multiple projectors and computer equipment, a Technics digital piano, a contrabass clarinet and a Phantom quadcopter drone — on a motion by Cameron Ross and seconded by Jimmy Morgan. The board approved establishing Fund 7626 as the track fund on the same vote sequence.
