Jenkinsburg council approves minutes, financial reports and appoints Charles Barber to Planning and Zoning

Councilmember Gary Brown then moved to accept the July 2025 financial reports as presented; Gary Roberts seconded and the motion passed by unanimous recorded vote.
On appointments, Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts nominated Charles Barber to fill the unexpired term of Planning and Zoning Commissioner Julie Epperson; Brent Eberspacher seconded. The council voted in favor (Jason Watts, Joye England, Brent Eberspacher and Gary Brown recorded aye votes) and Barber was appointed. The minutes do not reflect a recorded vote from Gary Roberts on that specific appointment motion.
Mayor Eddie Ford delivered a mayor's report and staff provided a staff report; both were noted as requiring no action. The public comment period was listed with no action recorded. Mayor Ford adjourned the meeting at 7:42 p.m.
